The company that built its reputation for decades on reliability announced another massive recall, this time for Toyota’s Corolla and Matrix. The recall includes the Pontiac Vibe, the Matrix’s mechanical twin. This is on the heels of the major controversy that involved issues with a sticking accelerator – a consumer relations disaster only mitigated by the BP Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
